UNIFIED is a five year, €27 million global public private partnership funded by the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI). Led by Erasmus University Rotterdam and Pfizer, and uniting 40 partners across academia, healthcare, patient advocacy, and industry, UNIFIED is transforming how healthcare decisions are made by putting patient voices at the centre.
The mission of UNIFIED is to develop a harmonised and internationally aligned framework that integrates patient preferences, clinical outcome assessments, and digital health technology derived measures into clinical research, regulatory review, and health technology assessment. By defining what truly matters to patients, the aim is to ensure that healthcare interventions reflect real world needs and todeliver meaningful benefits.
Through collaboration across five diverse disease areas and global stakeholder engagement, UNIFIED is building the tools, standards, and evidence needed to make patient centred outcomes the norm and not the exception.
