POLICY RECOMMENDATIONS

Policy recommendations have been developed as part of the PanCareSurPass project, focusing on improving Survivorship Care for childhood and adolescent cancer survivors across Europe. These recommendations aim to support the implementation of person-centred, digitally supported Survivorship Care pathways, in line with EU health priorities and the needs of long-term survivors.

While these recommendations form a significant step forward, they are part of a broader effort and will be integrated with the policy outputs from the related PanCareFollowUp project. Together, PanCareSurPass and PanCareFollowUp deliver a comprehensive and cohesive set of policy recommendations that address the full continuum of Survivorship Care — from follow-up protocols to the practical implementation of digital tools and care pathways.

The combined recommendations will be published as a unified resource to inform policymakers, healthcare providers, and patient organisations. This integration will ensure consistency, avoid duplication, and provide a stronger foundation for shaping future survivorship care models across Europe.
