GUIDELINES

PanCare is involved in the creation of different guidelines. Guidelines make it easier for health care professional and survivors to plan the best possible long-term follow-up care for each person. The guidelines are targeted towards healthcare professionals. For information for survivors visit the PanCare PLAIN language summaries.

PanCare Guidelines

The PanCare guidelines were developed within PanCareFollowUp, PanCareSurPass, PanCareLIFE and PanCareSurFup and will be maintained and updated by the PanCare Guidelines Group. The PanCare Guidelines Group aims to promote and facilitate the development and update of guidelines for the care of childhood and adolescent cancer survivors across Europe, and to support the implementation of recommendations in these guidelines.

PanCare Follow-up recommendations for surveillance of late effects

The PanCare Follow-up recommendations are recommendations for healthcare professionals and CAYA cancer survivors to guide long-term follow-up care and surveillance. These recommendations were developed within the PanCareFollowUp project.

IGHG Guidelines

The International Late Effects of Childhood Cancer Guideline Harmonization Group (IGHG) is a worldwide endeavor initiated by several national guideline groups and the Cochrane Childhood Cancer Group in partnership with the PanCare Guidelines Group. The main goal is to establish a common vision and integrated strategy for the surveillance of chronic health problems and subsequent cancers in childhood, adolescent, and young adult cancer survivors.
