YARN #QoL Webinar: Communication about Late Effects

Here you can fint the YARN #QualityofLife Webinar about Communication about Late Effects.

YARN is an ambitious EU co-funded project designed to empower young people affected by cancer. YARN strengthens a growing European network of adolescents and young adults (AYA) impacted by cancer by implementing psychosocial and mental health care standards, offering education and career support, and developing comprehensive resources for long-term follow-up and transition of care.

Our webinar, held on 28th January 2026, was an engaging exploration of Communication about Late Effects. We’ve covered a variety of topics that included:

  • Effective Communication about Late Effects (Hannah Gsell)
  • Interactive panel discussion: healthcare professionals, researchers, and people with lived experience share their experiences and tips for clear communication (Hannah Gsell, Natasha Barbier, Emma Potter, Hanne Lie, Dr. Maria Otth)
