My name is Maria and I am a pediatric oncologist from Switzerland.

My focus of clinical care and research is long-term follow-up (LTFU) care. I am responsible for the LTFU care clinic in two hospitals and organized it from scratch in both hospitals. I am further the deputy chair of the national LTFU working group. On an European level I was the past chair of Young SIOPE and involved in the development of the mentorship program.

I am a PanCare member since 2018, joined the annual meetings regularly, and was in the local organizing committee for the meeting 2019 in Basel.
Through the PanCare meetings I have attended and the people I have met, PanCare has become a very important organization for me.
The multidisciplinary composition and the input from all disciplines is a huge advantage of this network – and unique from my perspective.

I would like to play an even more active role in this community and contribute to the future of PanCare – for an even better quality of life for former childhood and adolescent cancer patients across Europe.
