Francesco Felicetti

Country: Italy
Profession: Endocrinologist

After graduating in Medicine and specializing in Endocrinology, I completed my PhD in Medical Pathophysiology at the University of Torino (Italy) in 2020.

Currently, within the Department of Oncology at Città della Salute e della Scienza Hospital, I coordinate our long-term follow-up program for childhood cancer survivors after their transition from pediatric to adult care.
Alongside my clinical activities, I am involved in research on endocrine complications, premature aging, and psychosocial implications after anticancer treatments.

About 10 years ago, I attended a PanCare meeting for the first time, and getting to know the PanCare community over time has allowed me to broaden my understanding of survivorship, as well as meet inspiring people and share valuable experiences.  I participate in the PanCare Guidelines Group and in some IGHG expert panels for guidelines harmonization. Being involved in the organization of the PanCare meeting hosted in Torino in 2022 was a great satisfaction.

I would be happy to offer to all colleagues, patients, and parents within PanCare the skills I have acquired as an adult physician, trained in the long-term care of survivors, with enthusiasm for the opportunity to contribute to PanCare’s goals of improving the care and quality of life of children and adolescents cured of cancer.
