The EU Network of Youth Cancer Survivors (EU-CAYAS-NET) aims to improve the quality of life of childhood, adolescent and young adult cancer survivors.  All stakeholders, from survivors to healthcare professionals, will be brought together on a platform to improve networking and support targeted actions and initiatives proven to benefit to the quality of life.  The focus will be on themes identified by survivors as most important for optimal long-term follow-up care and quality of life.

Young survivors will lead a collaborative approach involving diverse stakeholders to identify targeted actions and initiatives to be promoted via the network and Platform building on already existing initiatives and European projects. Activities will include peer visits, meetings, training, virtual co-working, social media campaigns, webinars, policy recommendations/events and other national/international events.
The project is part of Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan to improve quality of life in survivors and EU4Health to reduce disease burden and health inequalities and improve access to care and survivor rights.
