29th PanCare meeting: Ghent, Belgium

Registration for the 29th PanCare meeting 20 – 22 September 2023 is open!
We are looking forward to meet you in Ghent for the 29th PanCare meeting hosted by Els Vandecruys (Pediatric Hemato-Oncologist) and Lieselotte Wauters (Nurse Consultant) of the Department of Pediatric Hemato-Oncology of the Ghent University Hospital with the support of the vzw Kinderkankerfonds www.kinderkankerfonds.be.
The meeting will take place in the ‘Virginie Loveling building’ (Virginie Lovelinggebouw), Koningin Maria Hendrikaplein 70, 9000 Ghent, Belgium, from Wednesday 20th September 1 PM until Friday 22nd September 12 PM. The Virginie Loveling building is located next to the main train station Gent Sint-Pieters.
PanCare Ghent will offer an interactive program with presentations on various aspects of long term follow-up and survivorship care, scientific updates on the European research grants and collaboration. There will be four separate workshops on Wednesday morning 20th September dedicated to Parents, Health Care Professionals and Researchers involved in LTFU. The program is of interest for everyone connected to PanCare and everyone else with an interest in these subjects. More detailed information about the program and venue of the different workshops will follow.
On Thursday 21st September in the early morning there will be a fun run/walk.
The Social Dinner will take place on Thursday evening at the ‘Salons Carlos Quinto’, Kammerstraat 20, 9000 Ghent. The price for the dinner is €30, – per person if attending the PanCare meeting (and €50, – per person for partner/accompanying person). PLEASE NOTE: The deadline to register for the Social Dinner is 8 September COB.
Some travel and accommodation stipends will be available for survivors and parents. If you would like to apply for this please contact info@pancare.eu shortly introducing yourself and describing your reasons to apply for a stipend. Deadline for stipend applications is 28 July 2023
