Menia is the co-founder of NGO KARKINAKI, Awareness for Childhood and Adolescent Cancer founded by parents in 2015. As a parent representative, she is a board member of Pancare, member of the Research and Innovation Group of Childhood Cancer International Europe, member of  the children’s medicine working party of  EFGCP and member of the Digital and Data Advisory Group of EURORDIS.
