Paediatric oncologist

Jelena is a senior pediatric oncologist at the Children’s Hospital Zagreb and a professor of pediatrics at the Universities of Rijeka, Belgrade, Maribor, and Banja Luka. Her clinical and research work focuses on malignant hematology, rare tumors, and late effects. Jelena is a member of EXPeRT (European Cooperative Group for Rare Tumors in Children and Adolescents) and ELTEC (Early and Late Toxicity Education Committee) of the International BFM Study Group. She coordinates a survivorship program in Croatia and serves as the president of the Croatian Society for Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, as well as the national coordinator for the survivorship program.
